Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was founded in 1898. Today KPI is the largest educational and scientific technological centre of the country. It combines educational, scientific and innovation potential, productively postgraduate and doctoral studies work widely implemented in the scientific development of economy. KPI is the whole town which enrolled more than 40 thousand undergraduate and graduate students and near 10 thousand teachers and scholars. At the territory of more than 160 hectares 22 hostels, 28 academic buildings, many business premises are located. Finally, Kyiv Polytechnic today is the brand recognized in our country and all over the world as the research university, ground testing of new forms of educational and scientific processes, new forms of management of higher education in market relations conditions.
